Mine started with a camera, a lot of curiosity, and an unhealthy urge to keep moving.
Wander With Kevin is not just a travel page. It’s not just about destinations, hotels, or food. It’s a story — of movement, of growth, of taking chances, of getting lost and finding something better than what you were looking for.
My name is Kevin Pinto. I’m a travel and food creator from Goa, an engineer by degree, Digital Marketer by profession, a storyteller by choice, and someone who truly believes that life begins the moment you step outside your comfort zone.
Today, Wander With Kevin is a community of travellers, explorers, food lovers, and people who believe in collecting memories more than things. But it didn’t start that way.
The Beginning: Before Wander With Kevin
I didn’t grow up thinking, “I want to be a content creator.“
Like most people, I took the safe route. Engineering. A stable career. A predictable life.
But somewhere between classrooms, deadlines, and plans that didn’t excite me, I realised something was missing.
I was always drawn to creative work. I loved storytelling. I loved making short films. I loved photography. I loved observing places, people, and moments. Travel was never just about sightseeing for me — it was about how a place makes you feel.
Every trip I took, even the small ones, changed something inside me.
In 2018, encouraged by people around me who kept saying, “You travel so much, why don’t you make videos?”, I uploaded my first YouTube video. I didn’t know where it would go. I didn’t even know if anyone would watch it.
But people did. That small push changed everything.
From YouTube to Instagram: The Real Grind
As Instagram started growing and video content started picking up, I slowly shifted my focus there. That’s when Wander With Kevin really began to take shape.
What most people don’t see is what happens behind every post:
- Shooting in harsh sun, rain, or crowds
- Editing late into the night
- Writing, rewriting, deleting captions
- Planning trips not just to travel, but to tell a story
- Carrying gear, managing time, missing sleep, sometimes missing comfort
There were no shortcuts. No overnight success. Just consistency. Obsession. And a deep love for the process.
Slowly, the page grew. Not because I was chasing numbers — but because I was chasing honest stories.

Being from Goa has shaped how I see travel.
People think Goa is just beaches and parties. But if you really explore it, you’ll find:

Goa taught me to slow down and observe. That’s something I carry to every destination I visit — whether it’s Thailand, Sri Lanka, Lakshadweep, or a small village somewhere in India.

For me, travel is incomplete without food.

Over time, something beautiful happened. Wander With Kevin stopped being “just my page” and started becoming a community.
